Staff Pharmacist Langley, British Columbia Full-time

Position Summary

As a Pharmacist you will be reporting to the Pharmacy Manager within our Langley pharmacy. The position is responsible for execution and distribution of medications for our Long Term Care (LTC), Mental Health Group Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. It will also plan, execute, and distribute medications and clinical services for our LTC Facilities. The position is also accountable for creating standardized processes for clinical consulting activates as well following standardized process within pharmacy operations. The role will be divided between clinical duties and daily pharmacy operations.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely packaging/dispensing of prescriptions related to LTC and Assisted Living

  • Consult and provide advice with key stakeholders of the LTC facilities such as administrators, Directors of Care, physicians, nurses

  • Design and implement educational, in service programs and events and partner with healthcare providers to implement disease state management programs for specialized areas

  • Manages drug destruction, med reviews, committee work and other contractual and regulatory obligation

  • Maintains policy & procedure manual

  • Performs other related duties assigned to support Remedy’s Holdings Inc.


  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, fully licensed in BC and in good standings

  • Minimum two years clinical consulting experience and dispensing experience  

  • Must be injection certified

  • Must have a vehicle and be willing to travel to provide clinical services within Victoria and Sidney

  • Ability to be on call for one week every 3 weeks

  • Experience in counseling, educating and instructing patients as well as nursing staff in homes

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and performance management skills are required
