At Remedy’sRx Specialty Pharmacy, we service Long Term Care, Retirement Home, Assisted Living, Group Homes and other institutional care settings through dedicated pharmacies.
As a Pharmacy Manager you will be reporting to the National Director, Operational Excellence within our Windsor pharmacy. The position is responsible for managing the pharmacy operations that plans, executes and distributes medications for our Long term Care Clients and Assisted Living facilities.
Maintains the day to day operations of the pharmacy and ensures clients receive optimal customer service in all aspects of our partner in care philosophy
Provides leadership, Hires, Trains, Coaches and manages all staff
Drives efficiencies as a part of P&L management
Consults with administrators, directors of care, physicians, nurses and other members of the caregiver team within LTC and assisted living facilities
Drive Professional Services through Expanded Scope of Practice, including medication reviews, injection services, committee work and obligations both contractually and regulatory requirements are carried out and managed properly
Performs other related duties assigned to support Remedy’s Holdings Inc.
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid provincial license in good standing
Minimum five years pharmacy dispensing experience in either Retail or Long Term Care
Management experience and a team player capable of working cross functionally
Knowledgeable working with various systems within the pharmacy industry such as Kroll, eMAR, and Pacmed
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong problem solving skills and ability to be results oriented
